WHAT’S CS / SOCP?
THE SLIGHTLY OFF CENTER PLAYERS (SOCP) was named a 2005 top-ten theatre in the U.S. by the American Association of Community Theatre during nationwide competition. SOCP is home to The Harlequin Players (HP, thrice named the most professional youth live theatre troupe in the state by Texas Nonprofit Theatres in 2005, 2006 and 2009) as well as the award-winning Rhapsody Dance Company (RDC) competition team and musical theatre performance troupe Encore Theatre Company (ETC).

SOCP ON CABLE TV
2004 — Center Stage’s first TV commercial had lots of parents asking the question: “What’s that song my kid won’t stop singing?” Turns out it was our jingle ... written, recorded and sung by Artistic Director Jeff Sensat.
2006 — Our Time-Warner cable 2006 sequel commercial (aired on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network channels) again featured a selection of very talented SOCP drama, vocal, and dance students.
